The College of Southern Idaho would like to thank the local businesses and industry representatives who continue to support our ASEP program. A special thanks to those who contribute to the program as active advisory committee members and through their continued donations and student sponsorship support. A few are as follows; Cindy Jo Edwards (local GM service representative and former CSI ASEP graduate), Rob Green Auto Group, Con Paulos Auto Group, Lithia Corporation, our local ACDelco service centers, and all the other dealers and service centers that continue to support our students.
All GM Dealers and ACDelco TSS Service Centers have the opportunity to sponsor a student through the programs allowing the following benefits:
- A GM trained, customer focused service force comprised of students who are pursuing or have received their Associate Degree.
- The opportunity to "grow their own" service technician, trained to their standards, at their dealership.
- An opportunity to partner with local colleges and universities for consultation on service technician recruitment and retention.
- A source for enthusiastic students and service technicians who are eager to learn.
- Students and GM Dealers receive credit for a majority of the GM STC curriculum upon successful graduation. ACDelco TSS sponsored students will receive credit for ACDelco courses upon successful graduation.
Chevrolet, Pontiac, GMC, Buick, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Hummer, as well as Saturn and Saab dealers are encouraged to participate! Beginning Fall 2005, ACDelco Total Service Support service centers are also eligible to sponsor GM ASEP students.
