For Businesses

Question: Where can I find talented, motivated, well-trained, and loyal technicians for my business?

Answer: Auto Body Technology at the College of Southern Idaho provides all the above and gives you a chance to get more involved with CSI. More than twenty (20) companies in our valley are already participating. If you don’t get involved with CSI you’re letting competing companies get ahead.

Auto Body Technology is a true school-to-career initiative through CSI that pairs qualified students with your business through a classroom and experiential training process that can include a mentored internship.

Auto body technicians are bright adults from your community, committed to careers as technicians in your company. Auto body students are trained through classroom work, and one-on-one mentoring. An Auto body technician is truly your technician molded by you, to your standards through a process that, literally, allows you to ‘grow your own technician’.

Many of today’s young Auto body technicians are men and women looking for careers that offer them the chance to turn their college education into lifetime opportunities. Auto Body Technology is a nationally recognized business and education partnership. CSI’s Auto Body Program combines a rigorous educational process with job shadowing, mentoring, employability skills, and hands-on-training to prepare graduates for entry-level positions in your company.
